The star ingredient is pine pollen extract which is known to help with acne . . Key Ingredients: Pine Pollen, Rose of China, Centella, Matcha and HA . . The consistency is lightweight and is in between a gel and water cream. It is quite liquidity and runny. There is a strong floral scent and it sort of lingers 😅 . . Initially, this cream felt very refreshing and cooling. The application is very smooth and spreads effortlessly. It absorbs immediately and leaves no sticky/tacky feeling. It dries down a semi matte finish. It also sits well with other products, sunscreen and makeup. I had to problem with pilling. Overall, it felt very comfortable and nice on the skin. . . However, it is the type of gel cream where it provides a quick boost of hydration and then, the hydration disappears. My skin felt tight and dehydrated after 3 hours. So, this cream did not provide long lasting hydration. But, when I applied two layers I felt a little more hydrated. Ideally, I would need to prep my skin well with a hydrating toner and serum before applying the cream. . . It did not irritate my skin but I wouldn’t say it calm down or soothed my redness or active pimples either. However, it did a pretty good job with sebum control. My t-zone did not look shiny/oily by the end of the day. . . The major downside is that it contain fragrance and alcohol is high up on the ingredient list. Overall, this cream is not suitable for my combination skin. I didn’t see any drastic changes in terms of healing or reducing acne. However, I can imagine that it would make a great day time or summer moisturiser for those with oily skin. . . .
