I applied the hair treatment to my washed, dried hair, starting at the ends and working my way up. It smelled really nice, like how any shampoo or hair treatment would smell like, but not overpowering at all. The hair treatment cream looked so plentiful (like maybe I could get two uses out of this one package), but I found that the entire package wasn’t enough for my medium-length hair. (I have a lot of really thick hair, so even though it’s only like an inch past my shoulders, I guess it wasn’t enough.) I was concerned the treatment wasn’t spread out evenly, but I put on the (surprisingly comfortable) sleeping cap and went to sleep. . In the morning (about 8 hours later), I removed the sleeping cap and felt my hair. The treatment had dried out a lot and felt sort of matted and clumpy. After rinsing and shampooing (optional step), my hair was silky but not as soft as I would’ve liked and it left me feeling unsure. I let my hair air dry (too lazy to dry with hair dryer & so obviously too lazy to blow dry). When it did finally dry several hours later, my hair was so, so soft and shiny! It was also very voluminous and bouncy, like I actually had taken the time to blow dry! No frizzes and no flyaways. I kind of just spent the next hour randomly and unconsciously touching my hair. .
